In the Philippines, on the island of Mindanao, in the hills above Cagayan De Oro City, Pastor Ben Alud and his team from Share Ministries, International and other local pastors distribute at least a cup of rice at least once a week for hundreds of children.

The children gather at several different churches in the hills, receive a lesson from Scripture, learn songs worshiping Jesus Christ, and then line up for the rice. Often the parents who bring the children return to that same church to become part of the fellowship of believers.

To support the ministry at least $100 per week, $400 per month is needed, particularly since the cost of rice has almost doubled in the last two years.  It's Pastor Ben's heart not just to support this ministry but to expand it to other areas to feed even more children.  Most important, he and his team are feeding hungry children not just rice but His Word.
